Ye old trap thread

I'm sure that this thread has been posted quite a few times. As I'm realitively new to the forums, I'm not sure I'm even in the right one. Anyway, I'm looking for unique traps/puzzles for my players to defeat. If anyone can post a link to an old thread, or just post your ideas I'd appreciate it!

Personally, I've always wanted to do a crossword puzzle dungeon, where passages opened up as you got answers right. Then you'd have to deal with what was in the passage. :D

Unfortunately, I've always wanted to make it thick like a NY Times crossword rather than some cheezy grade school thing, so I never got too far with it.
 


I'm looking for some traps/puzzles that aren't rogue specific. When traps are present, parties have a tendancy to hide behind the rogue. The rogue either finds it or he doesn't, and disarms it or he doesn't. I'd like an encounter that doesn't depend on two die rolls. There will be plenty of traps for the rogue to disarm, but I'd like some stuff that makes the PC's go Hmmmmmm as well.
