Follow-up ProD&D session (ie an excuse to tell our admin we are studying the potential of using TTRPG concepts in the classroom so we can play during the workaday). First the players followed clues to a small island and battled a tree blight:
That revealed an opening to an old tunnels, which they followed until they had to figure out how to cross a chasm while being attacked by a giant slug and a carrion crawler:
Before finally making their way to a long lost ritual chamber, still inhabited by the remnants of its high priest, now a nothic, and the gibbering mouther powered by its madness:
They are. I’m a huge fan of them, especially if I need to transport maps. For this game, I had all those sets stacked in one large container for transport (the tree tops, etc., were detached ).
That is a good idea!. I don’t have any of the DF other than 4 of the trays (ocean/water ones) but that carrying them option is such a headache reliever!
