Captain Ron. Haven't thought about that movie in ages. There are no gorillas in the Caribbean.
That's about the only bit I can remember from that movie.
  • I love me some star wars episodes 4 and 6. I also quite like episode 1.
  • I watched the hell out of the Footrot Flats movie when I was younger.
  • I relived my childhood the other week and watch the 1986 transformers movie in the cinema again.
  • Klaus has become my favourite Christmas movie. The Christmas Chronicles is a close second.
  • The Fifth Element is one of my favourite sci-fi movies.
  • I love all of the Jurassic park/Jurassic world movies, especially loved Dominion since they brought all of the characters from the park and world movies together. Sometimes I think I'll give the original jurassic park a rewatch and then I end up watching all of them.
  • Blazing Saddles would have to be one of my favourite westerns.
I think these might be my favourites, probably some others I've forgotten but have watched multiple times in the past, like the back to the future trilogy and ghost busters which I've remembered just as I've been typing this sentence.

Interestingly, no superhero movies have made it to my favourites, though if I had add one it would probably be Thor: Ragnarok. I watched that a couple times in the cinema which may have been the first time I've done that.

Leaving aside that I like a ton of Godzilla movies (Gojira, Godzilla v Biollante, Tokyo SOS, GMK, Shingoji, Minus One) some of my favorite movies are The Big Short, Help, Princess Bride, Friendship Games -it is like comfort food for when I feel very ill-, Rocky, Rocky IV and Rocky Balboa, The Dark Side of Dimensions, Rogue One, The Phantom Menace, The Page Master.

Well that all seems like a good mix of things so far: some movies I would definitely put in my top 10 as well, movies I also like but would probably put in my top 50 rather than my top 10, movies I never even heard of before, and of course movies that I did not enjoy myself but it's good to see that people with different tastes than me would put them on their list.

I watch these often, and started rewatching some with kids as they come of age; got to take my two oldest to see Howls at Regal last year.. great experience. Hopefully SW IV in 20027!
