Did Monster Builder not update yet?

I saw there was an update for the Character Builder, but my Adventure Tools isn't telling me the same thing. Anyone know?

According to Obryn here, there's no Monster Builder update today and no firm announcement for when there will be one, but apparently there's some announcement about a Compendium update on July 20. The best guess is that we'll see the Adventure Tools update then as well.

Makes me sad, since I was holding off on alot of monster stuff so I could do it in the new format.

Ah well, I can be patient for 2 more weeks I guess.

I am not too upset so long as I have the new maths that monsters are following for damage. That's enough that I am confident in making doods again. In the end I was only using the MB to quickly calculate HP and defenses. Attacks are easy to work out now, because everything is +5 vs. AC and +3 vs. NADs (the soldier ironically needs errata in the errata as it is incorrectly displaying +5 vs NADs).

I can do pretty much the rest from there now.

...We'll be following this up with updates to Compendium and Adventure Tools July 20th.

In August, we'll be updating the Character Builder on the 6th as well, and Compendium and Adventure Tools on the 20th.

Looks like the new statblock conversion is taking longer than expected.

Looking forward to the new statblocks.

My two coppers,

I have been told that more information will be available soon. As soon as I find anything out that I can share, I will post it here to let the good folk of EN World know.

Here is my guess, based on what I understand of what is happening:

My guess is that not only are they updating all of the info to the updated format, that they are also adding in additional information or rejigging the Compendium/Monster Builder database for the next tool that we are all guessing is coming down the pipe.

I imagine that the change will require rejigging some of the monster builder code as well - as it currently stands, there is no way to get an effect line seperate to the attack line, something that is rather important to have for the MM3 monsters to be easily legible.
