A low-level Deck of Many Things?

I was thinking of tossing a Deck of Many Things into my campaign, just because the kids I'm running this particular campaign (my daughters, 14 and 10) really like props. However, their characters are 2nd/3rd level and nowhere near high enough level for one.

I was thinking therefore of making my own "low level" DOTM. Before I reinvent the wheel...I'm wondering if perhaps someone somewhere has already done this?

I've never actually used a DOMT, but it's pretty common to use a d20 or d100 and a list of possible outcomes for all sorts of things. Get creative and make a list of stuff to represent the deck.

I think you'll find this thread particularly helpful for this. There's a lot of fluff-based, and as such - always level (and system) appropriate stuff there.
The only thing that's not directly transferable to 4e seems to be the Leadership feat. You might invent your own though! The feat could for example allow to have 1d3 minions (rolled at the first time they get the card).
