What do you think of the Deluxe DM Screen?

First Post
So, @michaelrobles just posted on twitter a video where the Deluxe DM Screen is finally shown and I would like to read some opinions. Can anyone recognize all the tables/charts included? Do you think it works for regular 4e or more for the essentials line? Share your thoughts!

BTW Here's the link to the video:

Here's another link (Youtube) if you're having trouble with Twitvid

And here's how the art looks like (I think the art is awesome):

The inside appears to be identical to the DM kit screen, but with the Cover and Concealment tables replaced with Skill Challenge Complexities and Charging. Everything else looks exactly the same.

WAY better art, though. :D

Experience Point Rewards table is shorter - it used to go to Level 40 with additional columns for Minions, Elites, and Solos.

Base Exploration Speed table is new.

Damage by Level table is expanded (similar to the Target DCs).

Light Sources table dropped the fire creature entries.

Monster Knowledge DCs and Knowledge Skills by Origin tables are new.

DCs for Commonly Used Skills table is reorganized and expanded - now with Bluff, Diplomacy(?), Insight, Streetwise, Thievery from what I can see. The entries under Heal are also different from the old ones. (I didn't check the rest.)

Grabbed and Removed From Play have been added to the Conditions table.

I didn't see Food, Drink, and Lodging; Fall Severity by Character Level; Cover; and Concealment. The camera didn't show the bottom of the screen, though.

Hmmm, I could use a second DM Screen, I suppose. ;)

EDIT: The Skill Challenge Complexity table has an Advantages column with explanations (?) below, IIRC that's in the Rules Compendium or DM Kit (Essentials) but not in the DMG.

I probably will buy this. What is the art like? Are there any screenshots? It can only be an improvement over the old DM screen and the (same) one from DM's Kit.

It sounds cool, but I found something this morning that made me also enjoy the ingenuity of the private citizen: http://slyflourish.com/master_dm_sheet.PDF

Its from one of my favorite 4e D&D blogs. The author is also selling a 3pp 4e book, which I'm also tempted to buy.

[/parody of some ENW threads. My goodness! A red dragon in a winter setting?! How un-realistic! I'm going to write WotC a letter demanding that they respond. [/end parody]

Sigh. Barring that ... its looks pretty awesome! Thanks for the jpg.

I'll see your parody and raise you pedantry:

"A few reds even make their homes among snow-capped peaks, because altitude matters to them more than temperature."--Draconomicon: Chromatic Dragons, 41
