Class Feature Variant: Virtuoso Cavalier
Replaces: Combat Superiority
You gain the Mounted Combat feat (Page 199) as a bonus feat, allowing you to gain the mounted benefits of certain monsters. In addition when a marked enemy makes an attack against an ally and you are within charging range you may charge them as a free action.

The charge should not be a free action. Like the attack for Combat Challenge, it should be an immediate inturrupt. This way, it can only happen once per round. Also, I think that the ability needs to stipulate that the fighter must be mounted to gain the benefit.

Agree with DreamChaser and I think is better substitute weapon talent instead of Combate Superiority.

In addition when a Marked enemy shifts or makes an attack against an ally and you may charge them as an Immediate Interrupt. The enemy must be at least 2 squares away to use this ability.

Something like that.

You know what... I think the fact the fighter been mounted shouldn´t be a requirement... that way the feature is more useful.

But without the stipulation, the ability is too good. Every fighter would benefit from it more than any other weapon training or combat superiority. This gives fighters a reason to stay on their horse (or other mount) rather than gain the advantage of smaller size while moving.
