Hellscapes is the beaten and battered manual you need to run post-apocalyptic survival games. We’ve scavenged the noble bones of Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, reworking its lightweight materials into twisted mechanics to serve our needs. We bastardize classes into those that suit the wastes, allowing for new and dangerous heroes to arise. We’ve repurposed the raw materials of Feats and Backgrounds to reflect the storylines of hardened scavengers. We recast Races into Origins, allowing you to customize tribes, mutations, and robotic enhancements to suit the hellish campaign settings you choose.

Outcast. Rogue-based. Living by their own code and their own ways due to fate, chance, or their own need for the open road. Archetypes: Freak, Lone Wolf, and Packrat
Scavenger. Sorcerer-based. Cobbling together new things and new ways from old. Fixing people and things with what’s at hand. Improvising as needed to get the job done. Archetypes: Fetishist, Rigger, and Sawbones
Throwback. Paladin-based. Dedicated to an ethos, bringing back old ways. Oaths relate to specific old ways and ethical codes: Oath of Knowledge, Oath of Office, and Oath of Persistence
Warrior. Fighter-based. Skilled combatants, honed by the varied threats of these hellish lands. Archetypes: Bane, Gladiator, and Warlord
