Advice for a Werewolf PC.

First Post
Alright, so, with the help of Savage Progressions: Ghost and Werewolf Template Classes , I finally am in a game where I will be playing a werewolf. I'm planning a natural one atm, not sure whether that will work properly or not.

Starting level is one, so he'd ease into the template slowly over the course of the campaign.

I'm thinking either Barbarian or Fighter would synergize best, unless I've missed another class someone feels would fit better. Another note: Since the DM ruled 'No EVIL characters' and Werewolves are 'always evil' my character is apparently either an exception to the rule, or he's using rule 0 on it or something, so alignments are open.

Tips, advice?

(Stat rolls are unknown at this point, will update with them when I get them.)

Be sure to take Improved Natural Attack...but don't take any silver nickels!

Barbarian is a natural, and quite obvious.

But Ranger or Druid could be good for a Wolf trying to overcome his nature...and the shapeshifting of the Druid adds an interesting wrinkle.

There are also going to be all kinds of interesting twists you can find by trying some of the non-PHB stuff, like Psionics or Incarnum based classes. Being a Warlock would make for an interesting twist...

And if you went pure spellcaster, mixing arcane and divine casting classes, your Werewolf could be a fascinating Geomancer.

Certain feats like VoP or Spellfire could provide all kinds of niftyness to your PC.
