Inspired by this thread, I realized there have been a few nifty and unusual Warforged PC/NPC ideas posted here at ENWorld.

One that I worked on:

This thread's Post #47
BOX
Warforged Ftr/Sorc (or BttlSorc)

Using the basic Mage-brute theory, he takes Adamantine Body as his first level feat, maximizing Str, Con, and especially Cha. His weapon should be the spiked chain.

Instead of the Draconic Heritage & BW feats, take Infernal Heritage and Infernal Sorcerer's Howl ASAP.

Describe him as having an adamantine body, somewhat darkened by blackish-red enamel paint, with elaborate golden filigree.

That's right- he's a walking, talking LeMarchant Box, a living Lament Configuration- constructed to be an autonomous key to the gates of hell.

Like Hellboy, however, he rejects his intended destiny, and seeks to travel a different path.

Oh Hi guys, its me again, the guy who inspired this thread (Check the link above)

Anyhow I have another concept, basically its a warforged cleric that I used to play, basically he worships pelor, the thing is the DM let me take a bunch of pieces of parchment (1000 pieces to be exact) along with lots of ink.

Now I have a warforged cleric with 1000 pamphlets that sing the praise of pelor. The warforged is named Sunshine. He figured preaching to individuals took too much time so now he hands out the preachings

So basically what I have Johova's witness who doesn't sleep and cannot get tired. Never thought you could make a nightmarish lawful good cleric? I beg to differ.

Warforged Paladin of Morradin.

He's a Lawful Good Defender of the cause of Morradin. Not by choice, but because he was build that way by the Dwarven Forgers.

You thought normal Paladins where rigid in their faith? Try this one!

A player in my current campaign is playing a Warforged Duskblade/Paladin/Dragon Disciple/Pious Templar (Bahamut).

He was created by powers of upper plane to become a holy weapon to defeat various agendas of Tiamat and evil dragons (the campaign is adopting various dragon themed published modules such as Scourge of the Howling Horde, Red Hand of Doom, and Ashardalon related adventures).

He was "found" in an old basement of local temple by another PC (LG cleric). He did not know much about his true destiny. But the symbol of Bahamut is on his chest and heart of goodness and justice was (imprinted) in his mind. He started as an usual warforged character (though in my campaign he is a kind of the first warforged in the world).

Later he found that part of his body was created from organic tissues of metallic dragons. Then "awakened" as Dragon Disciple.

Now he finished all the 10 levels of Dragon Disciple and became Half-Dragon/Warforged. Thanks to dragon type, fire immunity due to being half-gold dragon, living construct subtype (he still has it by RAW) & Warforged Paladin alternative class feature, he has a dozen or so of immunities. Also, thanks to the combination of classes and feats (Steadfast Determination), he has wonderfully high Fort and Will saves ...... and mettle (Templar). So, many of the special attacks and effects do not affect at all on him. And his AC and HPs are quite high (natural armor bonus from half-dragon, con adjustment from both warforged and half-dragon).

He may not be an ultimate damage dealer. But he is a kind of ultimate tank for sure.

Oh, and he can fly, thanks to his dragon wings;)

I've always liked the idea of a Warforged Wizard who scribes all his spells onto his armoured body (instead of a spellbook). I picture him with a small hammer and chisel covering all available surfaces with runes and scripts, and when he casts spells. the corresponding runes and scripts illuminate or glow with arcane fire or something.

I'm a music nut. My collection currently covers 3 formats- cassettes, LPs and CDs (5000+ of these alone)- so if I ever get around to it, I'd play a Warforged Bard named Jukebox or iPOD or some such, and for each spell on his list or different use of Bardic Music, I'd have a particular song associated with it.

Those would be loaded onto an iPod equipped with speakers...

When not actually casting, I'd try to speak as often as possible in quotes from songs.
Other PC: "Jukebox, the fighters are sorely wounded. Do you think you can take point for a while?"

Jukebox: "Been a long time since I rock n' roll....mmmm. But Saturday Night's alright for fighting. And we are the champions, my friend!"

Other PC: "I'll...ummm...I'll take that as a 'yes'."

Warforged- class as yet undecided- with a Shield +1 Bashing/Throwing/Returning/Shocking. He's a combo of Capt. America and a character from Tron.

If he's a Paladin (fitting, with the Cap elements), he also gets a mount. Given that 3.5 has the "poke-mounts", perhaps I could have his Celestial Charger be somewhat luminous and mechanical in appearance. Named Moto de Lumiere, the mount is summoned when he holds a rod out in front of him...
