A player in my campaign wants to play a wealthy noble, who shows off his wealth with lots of jewelery. (Fine with me, but somewhat wierd...)
So, now he thinks we should make a feat that allows him to benifit some more than 2 magical rings. He thinks 4 rings is too little, afterall he has 10 fingers or so he says. (Even though some day a thief might cut off his hand and run away with a LOT of rings.)
I'm fine with the idea, but what should the number be in order to be somewhat balanced:
A fixed number of 3, 4, 6 or 10 rings instead of the normal 2?
A additive number of +1 or +2 usable rings, able to take the feat more than once?
Another somewhat related question, with the standard rules, what happens if you wear more than 2 magic rings, how do you select which ones are active?
Is it some kind of action maybe to switch which are on?
Or is it the first two rings put on?
Or is it the last two rings put on?
Maybe the "ring bearer" feat should be about switching which are active instead?
Any input welcome.
