The BEST of Goodman's DCC series? (3.x)

I'm digging Goodman's 4E offerings so far (DCC 55 totally rawks) and now I'd like to pick up some of the 3.x mods, so I'm looking for advice as to which ones to look into? Which ones have the best reputations?

FWIW- I''ll be converting these to C&C or S&W (OD&D) most likely, so I'm not worried about issues with 3.X mechanics/balance/stat blocks.

It depends what you are looking for. I like the shorter ones but the turnement modules have good reputations. I've reviewed the few I've run in the review section here. Even the worst ones are just fine.

If you like low-level scenarios, The Adventure Begins is a really great product. I also enjoyed Halls of the Minotaur. Into the Wilds looks very fun and I think I will use that as the starter adventure in a future campaign.

The ones I most want to run right now are The Scaly God and Legacy of the Savage Kings.

My favorites are DCC 34 Cage of Delirium (the best one I've ever read) and DCC 38 Escape from the Forest of Lanterns.

Seconding: The Adventure Begins (great 1st level adventures), Cages of Delirium (great haunted house adventure, with good handouts and the music's good), Escape the Forest of Lanterns (great concept)

Nominating: The Adventure Continues (several very strong mid-level adventures in there), The Dragonfiend Pact (innovative 2nd level adventure), Heroes are Made Not Born (Great 0th level adventure)

Castle Whiterock, if you're looking for something HUGE. It is awesome, and very easy to split up into smaller parts. Also very 4e-ish, with Quests and big set-piece encounters.

I like Cage of Delerium, the tournament mods (specifically own Crypt of the Devil-Lich and Vault of the Dragon Kings).

I never ran Assault on Stormbringer Castle or whatever that one was with it's sequel (Stormbringer Juggernaut), but for some reason the storyline just absolutely turned me off. I've read other people having fun with those two, but something about the story just really irked me.

I can absolutely, totally recommend #51.5 The Sinister Secret of Whiterock as one of the best dungeon crawls I have ever played, and one of several modules that made Harley Stroh my top adventure writer (the only name that would actually make me stop and look at an adventure just because of who wrote it).

The module is I think a short $2 thing made as publicity for the Whiterock super-dungeon which I never played, but if it's anything like that little intro, it should be awesome.

On the other hand, I can totally UNrecommend #3 The Mysterious Tower. It's not very good and several design decisions in it made it pretty boring for the players, which sadly I was too much of a newbie DM to realize until we *finally* finished it and everybody including me let out a "wwwhheeeewwww it's over!"
