I think the community use policy is very nice.

The only thing that would give me pause is the "adult content" condition. Does that mean profanity is out? Mild profanity? Where's the line?

(Or is it like porn - you know it when you see it?)

Given their track record, I think Paizo will be pretty cool about situations with a "grittier" or "edgier" feel to them; I think that "adult content" provision is for books like the BoEF that are overtly about sex/sexuality.

You're probably right. I just don't like vague terms in the contracts that I deal with, so when I see them they make me uncomfortable.

I suspect they'll be cool with most normal stuff short of a PF version of the BoEF. They didn't have a problem with the Lamashtu worshippers in the Pathfinder Companion - Osirion supplement, so I suspect you don't have anything to worry about.

To be honest, the reason why those licenses, both Paizo's and the GSL are subjective is because it has to be judged on a case by case basis. If you try to make strict definitions you not only end up with a multi-page document that might seem inane, it would force them to be more conservative instead of judging on a case-by-case basis, and would lead to licensees trying to use "the letter of the contract" to find loopholes and subvert things.

A license is a privilege, not a right. As such, simply respect that fact, use good judgment and accept the fact that the licenseor might say "no" to some things.

Yeah, but Paizo isn't bound by the terms of this license. ;)
