Online Reprints (*): B3 Palace of the Silver Princess; DLA1 Dragon Dawn [2e]; EX1 Dungeonland [1e]; EX2 The Land Beyond the Magic Mirror [1e]; FMA1 Fires of Zatal [2e]; FMA2 Endless Armies [2e]; FMQ1 City of Gold [2e]; FR5 The Savage Frontier [accessory-module] [1e]; FR15 Gold & Glory [accessory-module] [2e]; I10 Ravenloft II: The House on Gryphon Hill [1e]; OA5 Mad Monkey vs. the Dragon Claw [1e]; OA6 Ronin Challenge [2e]; OA7 Test of the Samurai [2e].

*I haven't included the online reprints that are provided as a mix of RTF and image files (or HTML files in the case of the Ravenloft module downloads) in this list since I don't consider those "official." However, I've downloaded most of these other modules including "The Secret Of Bone Hill" and "Needle."

Note that while I didn't list all the Forgotten Realms adventures/modules listed on the Previous Edition Downloads page, I have download all of them... even the Marco Volo adventures. ;)

Wow, now there is a list of scarce modules.

I'm thinking that S1-4 Realms of Horror should be easy to find, as well as (maybe) X4, X5, and X7, but where are you finding the rest?

Thx!

(Btw, I think that S1-4 would be a pretty good value, since it you get four modules instead of just one. I haven't seen most of the others to make a comparison, though. I imagine that some of the others are much better collectors items.)

Thx!

There is a used gaming store here in Edmonton that has lots of old D&D stuff. It's called Whyte Knight and it's located on a street called Whyte Ave, which is the heart of a neighbourhood called Old Strathcona.

They have quite a few of these old modules including BSOLO Ghost of Lion Castle *, CM7 The Tree of Life *, CM9 Legacy of Blood, I9 Day of Al'Akbar, MSOLO1 Blizzard Pass, S1-4 Realms of Horror, X4 Master of the Desert Nomads, X5 Temple of Death, X7 War Rafts of Kron *, and XSOLO Lathan's Gold. (*I'm not 100% sure about these ones but I'm positive WK has the others. I've looked through the bin the modules are in so many time that it sort of all blurs together. :p )

That's why I listed S1-4. I know WK has it but I wasn't sure if it included everything from the four modules or if parts of the modules were cut out. WK has both S1 and S4 as well but I think I'd rather get the supermodule.

Blizzard Pass interests me because it set in a winter environment, which blends well with my Lands of Harqual continent. Master of the Desert Nomads is on this list because someone pointed out in a previous round that "X10 Red Arrow, Black Shield" is a direct sequal to MotDN. I was very interested in X10 and now I'm considering getting both.

SPOILERS: More about S1-4, S1, and Return to the Tomb of Horrors

If you haven't already gotten a look at it, you might take a look at Return to the Tomb of Horrors, which includes the initial module (as a side quest!) and much much more. The S modules (S1, S2, S3, S4) are very specific and might be hard to use. RTH is much more of an adventure. The end-game is rather high level, but is a terrific continuation of the Acerek storyline. You get a swamp overland adventure, a city of necromancers, the original S1, the ruins of the city of Moil, and the Fortress of Conclusion, which is a very fitting sequel to S1.

Sigh. :(

I had Return to the Tomb of Horrors at one point. It was one of the D&D references I had to sell to pay my rent during a bad period around ten years ago. I regret selling it, but I had no choice at the time. I haven't had a chance to reacquire it yet, and I'm sure the price would be prohibitive.

Anything SOLO is specially designed for a single player and might require a lot of work to run for a group.

X4 & X5 : Go get these right now. They are so adaptable and full of great stuff, I consider them must-haves.

S1-4: I would suggest getting copies of the original individual modules. I have heard that this particular collection leaves out some good stuff from the originals but I have not seen it firsthand.

No real strong opinion on the rest. The CM's are are very high level adventures, but I don't recall much about thier adaptability.
