I doubt it. This idea has already been thrown in his/her face by Elan, back when he/she disintegrated Kubota. V seemed more comfortable with it than Roy did, probably because V has never been Lawful Good.

If Haley can tell V "went evil", then nothing will convince Elan V did not go evil. You don't dress like that (and have the creepy voice) unless you are evil. (Belkar misdirected Haley. Haley's leather outfit defined her as Chaos, not Evil.)
