Character Builder/Compendium Update

I just read the announcement for the changes and updates to the compendium and character builder. A few observations:

  1. If I've read the new glossery feature correctly, Cadfan will never buy another 4e D&D book.
  2. People who just demo the character builder will now get the first 3 levels of all the classes in the PHB 2
  3. WotC's adding the new power cards from the Player's Handbook Miniature set.
  4. And a question: 12 of the 18 power cards were 1st lvl at-wills, will those be made available for free in a month?

Dude.

Wow. Even the rules text?

You're right, by the way. They might, repeat might, be able to put material into the DMGII that I'll buy, but its looking like everything I'd possibly want from 99% of WotC's publications is going to be in the Compendium.

I have to say, I find the Import from Clipboard feature immensely cool. I may never use it, but then again...

I'm also thrilled to have the Glossary up on the Compendium. I was prepping the other night and tried to look up Blindsight... Well, this'll fix it.

Next, I'd like to see a Retraining page that isn't such a muddle... :)

How do you feel about a 4e version of Sigil? Because that's not going to be in the glossery. What else might be in the book, but not in the glossery, I don't know.

I am really looking forward to the Glossary feature in the Compendium. That was the one batch of rules that I still really needed my books for. Now I can work on my adventures most anywhere.

When is the update supposed to be posted? I'm itching to update my party's characters (Arcane Power options have been taken).

Plus, I know my players will be happy with a new version of the demo as well.
