Specifically, I'm looking to find a general steampunk gamebook or three to assist me in making Eberron less traditional. Fantastic contraptions and everyday mundanities are both welcomed.
Crunch is not necessary, although it won't be shunned either.
For game books, I might look at Space: 1889 and Deadlands for some inspiration. However, not too many games really seem to work in the steampunk niche.
So, you might want to look instead at the fiction. The scientific romances of Verne, Wells, and Twain form much of the basis for modern steampunk.
The Difference Engine, by Bruce Sterling and William Gibson is one source. If you'd prefer it to be more steampunk mixed with alchemy, look to the "Age of Unreason" series by Gregory Keyes.
I would also direct you to Girl Genius, by Phil and Kaja Foglio.
And, the reading list for Forgotten Futures is often available from the Guttenburg Project.
There's also been some excellent anthologies of steampunk short fiction lately. Analytical Engines is fun to read.

I double-dog-dare you to make your game sound super cool without comparing it to other editions. - paraphrased from Umbran.
Northern Crown (and if you get it, check out the closely-related product, Nyambe)- its set a little earlier, but could serve as the basis for some fun stuff.
Okay, I definately have to second Castle Falkenstein. Specifically, the books: The Notebooks of Leonardo DaVinci and Steam Age.
I've also heard that SJG has done a GURPS version of the old Falkenstein core rules...which would probably be quite good considering the original ruleset was kinda clunky and geared toward people who aren't really concerned about rules.

Edit: websites welcomed too.
There's Sorcery and Steam from FFG, Iron Kingdoms from Privateer Press and my favorite setting, and Etherscope.
