I'm wondering if "edition allegiance" has shifted now that Pathfinder has been out for a while. Personally, I bought Pathfinder, and the 4th Edition PHB, but I haven't played either yet, still running 3.5. Mostly out of lack of time to learn new rules . . .

Reading my poll choices, I realize I could have allowed multiple choice or more combos. Oh well, it is what it is.

Early prediction: about half of us will be playing 4E, and about half of us will be playing something else. I think the D&D community is still split down the middle over 4E, pretty much.

I voted for Pathfinder because I am currently playing a sandbox PF game, just to test out the new stuff. It remains to be seen, whether we will stay with Pathfinder or if we will revert back to 3.5 after this trial run.

We're playing my 3.x/Pathfinder Age of Worms campaign this weekend and have plans for a 4E game 3 weeks later. It's still a mixed bag for our group with about 70% 3.x and 30% 4E in terms of what our group is playing.

While I selected no RPG currently, that is only for logistical reasons not edition reasons. My purchasing habits over the past year or so seems more indicative of where I would find myself on the edition continuum.

Savage Worlds
Warhammer Fantasy RPG 2ed
Pathfinder
Hackmaster Basic
Call of Cthulhu

I am waiting for Hackamaster Advanced and Pathfinder Bestiary, and I am debating whether to get either Deadlands or Solomon Kane for Savage Worlds.

The closest I have come to playing would be my work in creating a sandbox campaign based off of T1 The Village of Hommlett. I have been more or less working on the fluff and whatnot as opposed to the rules stuff, though I have been referencing the BD&D and early AD&D rules and modules for inspiration.

I chose 4e because that's what my tabletop group is playing, but in PBP I'm playing in 2 4e games, playing in 1 3.5 game, and running a Star Wars Saga game.

Pathfinder using some older 3.5e stuff. Also True20 for non-fantasy, several non-d20 RPGs, and the uber-awesome Microlite20 for the occasional game with my nephews (ages 10 and 7). B-)

(Edit): FWIW, I would have added a Pathfinder + 3.5e combo option to the poll without the 4e.

I voted my "primary" game, but I also did Star Wars SAGA this month and last (6 sessions), will be starting Mongoose Traveller week after next, and we may start up a 3E or Pathfinder game too.

So currently I am playing or running 4 games of my primary system, and 1 of the others at any given time. One of the C&C games may end up alternating with the possible 3E/PF game.

Still D&D 4e here almost entirely, with occasionally forays back into 1e/2e. My groups are done with 3e and its derivatives forever. I started playing a Pathfinder campaign about a month ago at the request of a friend who is also playing in it, and while the guys playing are mostly fine (with one notable exception who powergames and whines when he doesn't get his way), to me PF still has all the problems 3e had and then some. The GM is pretty decent and runs mostly standard adventures, but there is just way too much focus on number crunching and optomization for my tastes. I'm probably going to bow out politely after the next adventure.
