Feral Minotaur (or template) for 4E?

Hi folks,

3.5 had a Feral Minotaur miniature and stat card, and I'd like to introduce that into a 4E game.

I have yet to design a monster in 4E, so, in looking at the Monster Builder last night, I was kind of at a loss.

Is there a Feral template for 4E, or does anyone know if a Feral Minotaur has been created/converted?

Thanks.

Not that I've seen.

I would just take a minotaur that you like and tweak it a little- prolly make it elite, give it regeneration and a minor action attack or a "when bloodied get +x damage" note or both...

What aspects are we talking here?

Regen shows up on a few creatures, but few if any 4E creatures get 3 attacks high damage attacks on a charge. Also 4E Monsters play grab ass less often than 3E critters.

The savage minotaur (level 16 brute, I think, from the MM) is somewhat along the lines of the feral minotaur, though without the regeneration or pounce. You could tack on the Savage Berserker template from the DMG, and replace its greataxe attack with a claw attack, and let it make 2 claw attacks as a standard action.

I agree with Mentat55.. start with the Savage Minotaur.. with monster builder just open his stats and click on the 'duplicate and edit' icon..
Change the name and level to start with.. than start tweaking.

If you want claw attacks instead of the greataxe, hit 'delete' on the great axe, then go to the right and search in the Powers section for 'Claw'.. drag the one you like onto the new Minotaurs power list on the left..

Make sure to open the power and select the damage range..

save, and print.

I would recommend claw attacks with a standard double claw attack, change the 'Ferocity' to trigger when first blooded and when reduced to zero.. and maybe make him an elite.
I wouldn't bother with regen.. he is a Brute and has enough hit points.
