| Game Night - Chapter One [ENnie-nominated novel published free on EN World] Hi everyone,
I don't know if you caught the news page from a couple of weeks ago, but we (EN World, Magnum Opus Press, and me, Jonny Nexus) are going to publish the entire text of my ENNie-nominated novel Game Night, on EN World, for free, in twenty-six weekly instalments.
I won't waffle on, because I'd rather let my novel speak for itself. You can read chapter one here: http://www.enworld.org/forum/blogs/j...-one-gate.html
Or alternatively, you can first read what EN World's own Teflon Billy and Crothian said about it: "I just finished reading Game Night by EN World's own Jonny Nexus and it is a laugh riot." 5/5 stars - Teflon Billy's review "This is the best work of gaming fiction I have ever read." - Crothian's review
Hope you like it!
Jonny
P.S. And in case anyone's wondering, yes Morrus did say it was okay for me to post this in the main forum. |

Hmm... That was supposed to be a kind of semi-ironic and hopefully humorous, "what he said!" type arrow pointing at Morrus's post... but looking at it now I realise it looks less like an upward pointing finger and more like an ascii art representation of something that definitely wouldn't pass muster with Eric's grandma.
Bugger. Oh well. You get the drift.
And Morrus: thanks! |

| Funniest gaming book to date. Of course, it's not got a lot of competition in that category, but it's still damned funny.*
* Although you might personally find BADD funnier, it's not, alas, satire, |

| I've read this and loved it.
Having played in Jonny's clique it's close to the bone. :-)
I've recommended this to many of my gamer and non-gamer friends alike.
Awesome! |

You telling us you've bought into the whole "official story" about it being created by some woman who thought D&D had killed her son?
You do realise that "Patricia Pulling" is an anagram for "TSR Marketing Department", right?
Bloody hell... You'll be telling us that Neil Armstrong walked on the moon next!

| This is one of those books we passed around the gaming group making sure everyone has read it. It was well done and any fantasy gamer should be able to appreciate and see themselves a bit in these characters. |

| Those of you who've already read the first instalment might be interesting in the first stop of the blog tour I'm doing to promote the Game Night serialisation, which is being hosted by the guys at RPGGamer.org: Blog Day I at RPGGamer.org
In it we talk about Game Night, where the idea for it came from and why I wrote it, as well as stuff about gaming, writing, and Doctor Who.
