Updated Dragon PDFs

Nikosandros

Golden Procrastinator
Today I noticed that the compiled PDF for issue #379 of Dragon has been updated and now lists Warding Steel as an encounter power instead of an at will power. I was pleasantly surprised by this, as I was completely unaware that older issues compilations were sometime updated... :)

Now, I'm left to wonder how often should I re-download past issues, since this correction isn't listed in the latest rulers update PDF.

From what I understand, only a few things were fixed Dragon-wise in the latest update, and you can search for them in the compendium (by searching for 'errata' and limiting the source to the magazines.) From what they've said, in the next round of updates, the listing will include what has changed in the PDFs - I'm not sure why it was left off this time, but that shouldn't be the case in the future.

Easier to keep track of then when they were in print and never updated, actually. Plus, they all update in the character creator, which is most important when building a character.

I think I'll let that statement lie though it is very tempting to respond to it.

Yeah a 'what has changed since your last download' system like from RPGNow is what is required. Otherwise it is really pointless, I will never go back and check each issue, I mean it is already at about 40 or so, I think.

Indeed and it shouldn't be too hard to implement.
