Does anyone know where I can get hex paper that breaks down a large hex into smaller hexes, 10 hexes across?

I have never seen such a thing. Hexes don't work out evenly that way. The side of the larger hex will cut across the centers of smaller hexes.

If you have a half-hex on one side, and a half-hex on the other side, with nine hexes between, that is 10 hexes. If you want to see a breakdown of how it works, the 1e DMG examples this. Wilderlands of High Fantasy also has a hex breakdown, but it is far more than 10 hexes across!

In my particular case, I have made a large area map, 1 hex = 60 miles, and small area maps, 1 hex = 10 miles. Now I am working on making regional focus maps, with a scale of 1 hex = 1 mile. This would be easiest to do if someone has premade paper of this type (I was able to get this for "1 to 6 hexes" via a kind poster at EN World).

I have some stuff like this at home but I don't remember how many hexes the larger hex contains. I'll check tonight when I get home.

I stumbled on a blog where the guy had made some templates and rules for worldbuilding with hexes. One of the major themes is imposing large hexes over smaller ones, though his scale is 5 and not 10 (i.e. a large hex is 5 times the size of a small hex)

I just got home and checked. The sheets I have are 25 small hexes across!!

I do have a lot of different sized hex paper. It shouldn't be hard to make a template sheet by hand with 10 per. Roughly how many larger hexes were you hoping to get per 8.5 x 11" page?

Once upon a time there was the Companions - they had hex paper with 1/2 inch hexes, with a 5 inch hex grid superimposed. Hexes were numbered within the larger hex. It was very useful stuff.

The Companions have been gone for about twenty years now - Wm. John Wheeler (who also worked for FASA and TSR) died last year.
