He says A LOT. And I'm 10 minutes in! There's an hour and a half left! I want a memory as lucid as his.
Edit: I have to say though that this would be awesome typed down. Really fascinating.
This isn't just the beginning of roleplaying games. He gets into advanced wargames. And game theory. And economics. Multiple players on multiple sides. The American Revolution. Scenario building. Character building. Funny train story. Losing control of a campaign, and allowing players to play.
Ok, maybe that's a kind of summary. =)
And there's a woman who tries to ruin the interview..
After that he gets into Arneson winning a wargame by outplaying everyone. Shortly.
Then it's Avalon Hill, the lack of an RPG industry, creating a naval wargame game with Arneson (with Isaac Asimov playtesting), and a tease about a long story involving TSR which he doesn't get into.
And it gets harder to hear near the end with kids in the background, but there's Gygax, and then polyhedral dice.
And it ends, surprisingly enough, with the very first airplanes, and Morse not inventing the telegraph.
