This is another write-up for my tidally locked campaign world. The Light side nation of Westralia, Holy Nation of the deity Axios.

Westralia
Theocracy of Celestial Gears
One of the few nations to successfully stand up to the Irkuskan Empire, Westralia has stood on its own for over two thousand years. The theocracy has maintained itself through martial and religious discipline, an extraordinary feat for a nation composed largely of Orcs. War Golems powered by sheer faith march alongside zealots in full plate armor, breaking enemy military formations by both physical might and force of will. "Victory is Inevitable" these warriors chant, throwing themselves into battle with divine fervor. The golems are built by craftsmen and clerics, although most are poor imitations of the Inevitables crafted by Axios himself.
The Church of Celestial Gears
The foremost goal of the Church of Celestial Gears is to bring order to chaos. Currently, the church is spending considerable resources reaching out to unbelievers across the world. Competition with local faiths and other power structures has left their influence outside of Westralia rather meager. This has created a debate within the church hierarchy on whether or not a more militant approach will be better. In recent years, the church has become closer to having a schism. More aggressive factions within the church have begun openly calling for a crusade to bring Order to Chaos. The restlessness only seems to be spreading, and those furthest away from the holy city of Antikythera often act counter to the desires of the hierarchy.
Axios, the deity for the Church of Celestial Gears, is largely preoccupied with a different problem. The deity has spend millennia attempting to figure out why Phaetos became tidally locked and how to fix it. Largely oblivious to the faith that has been created around him, Axios works tirelessly on trying to fix Phaetos. He frequently shatters himself into a number of axiomites in order to further his task. He is an occupied deity, but every once in a while an axiomite will show interest in the affairs of mortals. Most of the Inevitables have been built to serve as his avatars to assist the faithful, although often their understanding of mortal affairs is rather limited. Axios has limited their use, due to some of the solutions of the Inevitables being ineffective or misdirected.
Antikythera: Also known as the Holy City of Gears, Antikythera is laid out much like a gigantic blueprint for an intricate clockwork device. What is not commonly known is that the city on the surface is only a crude representation of the true City of Gears, which lies miles below the surface. Few are allowed into the true city, the divine realm of Axios. Unlike the city above, the city below is actually composed of gigantic gears, frozen in time. An elevator system connects the two, found only on the surface in the inner sanctum of the Great Cathedral.
