(OOC: Unless Erekose specifies otherwise, I will assume that Tenebrynn has reserved the largest and fanciest venue in the city (indoors), the Chiarra Palano. Draped with the finest paintings and decorated with fanciful sculptures, it is the height of both elegance and comfort.)
Ironwolf Kinkaid is a steady man, and a bit gruff. He mistrusts a party, though he would never intentionally spoil another's good time. What celebration could an adventurer have that wouldn't be crashed by enemies? He manifests an augmented danger sense for 8 power points, gaining uncanny dodge and +4 vs. traps for the next 9 hours. He examines the illusion carefully and attempts a smile while waiting to see what develops. [33 of 41 pp remaining.]
"Come one and all to the Chiarra Palano!" says Tenebrynn as he and his illusionary entertainers lead invited guests out of the Red Dragon. Outside he has more illusionary creations waiting as griffons, wyverns, and giant eagles fly overhead with streamers trailing from claws.
ooc: no dragons though, he has a thing about dragons.
Michael follows along the procession with long strides, but as the cavalcade capers into the Chiarra Polano he slows up and whistles.
"Somewhat fancier than I'm used to."
He splits off from the dancers and begins to walk around the polano, hoping for a big window or a terrace where he can sit and watch the guests.

Rinya hesitantly enters the party, clearly out-of-place among all this elegance. She finds a comfortable piece of wall to lean against and watches the proceedings.
A single horse-drawn caravan wanders though the streets of Orussus, lead by a man in colorful dress on horseback with a woman in wizarding robes. They pull up into the park off the balcony and the two mounted on horseback wave to Tenebrynn. "I told you not to start without me my friend," Vanitri shouts up to him. "I just had to find some of my family."
The wagon comes to a halt and quickly opens up, with a few colorfuly dressed men and women walk out, including a half-elven woman Michael might recognize.
OOC: RA, Lex is you for the most part, so feel free to have her say something or correct her manor of dress. And yes, it's Ros, though she's an NPC at the moment unless she shows back up, and knowing the player in RL, that's not going to happen.

(OOC: Thanks to her spiffy new corset, Lex won't have to go as herself. She's working on a new form that isn't just a copy of Kitty Valdaryne or another attractive classmate, so maybe she'll test that--)
*Vanitri's escort is a slender and alluring brunette with long wavy silky-smooth hair and big bright emerald-green eyes. She wears a reasonably fashionable dress, though a bit awkwardly, as if she isn't quite an expert in style.*
"I thought Lex told you when we were starting, besides you are not at all late my friend. We've only just arrived here. Come in and please bring your friends. I think the other librarians are already inside." replies Tenebrynn.
ooc: Hope it wasnt too presumptious to borrow Lex and Ashnar for the illusions. I'm pretty sure that Tenebrynn couldn't have covered all that with his own spell.
*Tenebrynn's statement proves accurate, as the adventurers find that some of the library staff have indeed already arrived. Old Thomdrin is over by the liquor, which isn't too surprising. When he sees Tenebrynn, he cheers a loud 'Huzzah!' and raises his glass:*
"To the library'sh greatesht hero! I always knew you'd be something amazing lad, ever since you were shmall!"
*Tenebrynn notices many other people he remembers from the library, and he sees one face that he still doesn't remember from growing up but can't help but pick out immediately now--Kiara is shyly standing to the back and off to the side, sipping a mixed drink. She was watching Tenebrynn, but when his gaze passes in her direction, she blushes slightly and turns away to gaze at one of the paintings.*

OOC: other than she just rode in on Vanitri's horse, not at all technicaly, Vanitri can do some minor stuff with Prestidigitation.
"The 'folk arive when they do. You can't expect much more." Vanitri replies. He ties his horse to the caravan and escorts his lady in, while several of the others set up a small camp first.

Tenebrynn laughs, but is distracted, he had wondered ever since the Crux when he'd meet Kiara, well as host he'd have to put it off a little longer as the guests arrived. From outside he weaves another major image over sky as the giant eagle, griffon, and wyvern all fly together and explode in a shower of fiery sparks (somewhat reminiscent of one of Ashnar's Sparkstrike spells). Satisfied that he has drawn enough attention to the party he joins the others inside.

It defies all logic that grace and agility are not at all a factor in dancing talent--instead, the prettier someone is, the better they can dance, even if they stumble and trip over themselves anywhere else. Once I discover why this is so, maybe I can start dancing without falling on my face," Lex blushes in shame, recalling her last attempt to dance.
