Best Babylon 5 antagonist

Which is the best Bablyon 5 antagonist?

I'm convinced that Khan, Gul Dukat and the Borg are the pre-eminent Star Trek antagonists, so now I turn my attention elsewhere.

The B5 antagonists are interesting in that for the most part, they are individuals rather than alien races or groups. I am explicitly excluding both the Vorlons and Shadows, since they are basically driving forces in the galaxy more than face-to-face antagonists. Their servants are fair game, however.

All of these antagonists appeared over multiple episodes or movies, with 1 exception. I am including Sebastian since his appearance is one of the most memorable episodes of the whole series (at least for me).

Interesting, you left Londo Mollari off the list... which is fine by me, since I've always felt that, while did double-duty for a time, ultimately he was one of the shows protagonists, really, the most interesting one (in a somewhat crowded field...).

I voted for Mr. Morden, as the human face of the Shadows. I loved the sort of diabolic used-car salesman vibe he gave off.

The problem is that Sooooo many of the B5 villians are freaky good. Makes it hard to call. Mr. Morden and Bester ended up being my choices for their sheer amoral, &$#*+$-ness.

Morden over Bester.

Morden was just plain evil. He sold out his crew, his friends (if he had any), and his soul. You never even heard what he was getting in return.

Now Bester? He just wanted the best for his people. So his methods were a bit iffy, and he was willing to deal a little... but he had his principles and stuck to them. I can respect that even if I don't agree. I'd go with Clark over Bester - that guy just sold out for power.

It's interesting... it really depends on what you're looking for in "antagonist". I went with evil. By a different yardstick, Bester beats Morden hands down.

Oh, and a side vote for best scene ever: Bester sitting down in the White Star's captain's chair. Go Chekhov!

Exactly. I could easily have clicked almost all of them, but I eventually restricted myself to those two as the best of the best (or worst of the worst, really).
