With lots of polls about what single class is liked best, or what class is the most disliked, I think it'd be interesting to see which classes actually get played the most.

Multiple answers possible. But since this is a popularity contest, I'd say don't check those you tried once but stopped playing because you didn't like it.

I think with ranger, sorcerer, and bard, I have covered 95% of all characters I've ever played. The rest is clerics plus two fighters I played only for two sessions.

I used to have 2 Killer DMs so I played them all.

but my most played are rangers.

Forest ranger
Mountain ranger
Desert ranger
Urban ranger
Planar ranger
Forest mystic ranger
Space Ranger
Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger
New York Ranger
Texas Ranger

Played them all.

How can you make such a poll without including Swordmages :( Sad.

(*) Well, Swordmage / Hexblade / Duskblade / Magus / Bladesinger...

I'd say rogue and druid are my favorites; I know I've played two druids at least, and definitely two rogues. I like versatility and I think rogues are really in my wheelhouse, though I liked the 2e mechanics better than 3e (I rewrote the class for my games).

That being said, I've also played a wizard, a sorcerer, a barbarian, a psychic warrior, a cleric, and probably others. Since I usually DM, I have a thin spread of PCs, but I try to play everything.

Fighter (1e-3e), thief/rogue (1e-3e), assassin (1e) would be mine. Fighter was honestly one of my favorites (1e/2e).

Rogues and Bards all the way with sorcerers as the pure spellcasting class I play the most

Arcane casters mainly, with the exception of warlocks. I would dearly love to play a warlock, the flavor is awesome, but I have yet to meet an implementation of the class with mechanics I could stomach. The 3E warlock has too few options--the one time I tried playing one, I was bored stiff--and is pathetically weak into the bargain. The 4E warlock seems just... incoherent, a heap of unrelated powers with effects that don't make any sense. I can't pull a clear concept out of it. Maybe 5E will finally get warlocks right.

Warlocks aside, I prefer spontaneous casters like the sorceror and the spontaneous-specialists from 3E (warmage, beguiler, dread necromancer). I'll play a wizard if that's my only option, but Vancian casting always grinds my gears.

Now and then I play a sneaky-type for a change of pace; rogue or assassin. I'm playing a revenant executioner right now.

The class I play the most is the one I haven't played yet. I like to try different things.

If you ask me what my favorite class is, I'd probably say the rogue, even though I think I've only played one D&D rogue, and haven't played one since 2nd edition. More by chance than anything else, I seem to have played roguish types in non-D&D games more often. For me, it's the ultimate adventuring type. You can be the con-man, the spy, the archaeologist, the swashbuckler, the assassin, the thief, the scoundrel, and so much more.
