Hobby Game Sales were up 5-10% in 2009, according to IcV2; however RPG sales specifically were down 10%. The top five RPGs were:

A couple of days ago I compiled a list of iPhone/iPod apps useful for RPGs. Here's a couple more (thanks toJevhad)! I've added these to the original list, also, for your convenience.
