Ironbound - Bloodline Feats

Phaetos is a campaign setting on a tidally locked world. The fluff for the setting is found in Plots and Places threads back in General, but since these feats are mechanics, I'll post them here.

Bloodline Feats: Bloodline Feats are feats that one can choose at first level to expand on racial abilities. These feats are not designed to supplant racial traits, but to allow for greater customization in a character.

Giant's Blood - You are unnaturally large for your kind, leading to suspicions on whether or not you have the blood of a larger creature in your ancestry. This feat allows you to wield weapons and objects as if you were one size category larger. It does not increase the size category of your character, nor does it affect your core attributes.

Shorty - You are small for your kind, but you have learned to use that to your advantage. This feat provides a +2 AC bonus verses weapons for one size category larger than your size category. This does not affect your CMB or CMD. It does not decrease the size category of your character, nor does it affect your core attributes.

Troll's Blood - Your flesh heals faster than others, but you are more susceptible to burns. This feat grants fast healing of 1 point per round for every two levels in any class, minimum of 1. You take 1 extra point of damage for every two class levels when hurt by fire (minimum 1).

Frostborn - Born on the frozen dark side of Phaetos, you gain resistance 5 to cold and a +5 to survival checks in cold environments, but you take a penalty of -5 to survival checks in tropical and desert conditions. The bonus and penalties do not apply in other climates, such as temperate. These bonuses do not count towards qualifying for other feats or prestige class requirements.

Suntouched - Born under the eternal sun, you gain resistance 5 to fire and a +5 to survival checks in desert or tropical environments, but gain a penalty of -5 to survival checks in arctic and winter conditions. The bonus and penalties do not apply in other climates, such as temperate. These bonuses do not count towards qualifying for other feats or prestige class requirements.

Phelpsing - You can hold your breath for four times longer and swim at the same movement speed as you can walk on land.
Will post more when I think them up. I think I've balanced out the penalties and benefits of some of the better ones, and the fact that they have to be chosen at first level really makes them part of the character from the get-go.

For shorty, if you were small already, would you get a +4 bonus against a large creature wielding a large weapon? that's a +8 AC bonus against giants for a few small races

You never know, might be in a giant-themed campaign right now ;) lol

but really, I'd make it to where small or smaller creatures can't take shorty, but that's just me
