Hey there folks, this is where I will post important facts for Character Creation and you will post characters. We are using Invisible Castle for Dice rolls. Everyone rolls their abilities and what not, and every one has their classes MAX wealth (Standard Gold Silver Copper system) plus 50 Gold coins for the job they just finished (escorting a Whiskey shipment). For Races available are Human (predominant and higher socialy), Elf, Gnome, Halfling, Half breeds, and dwarf. Any non-human race has 25 Gold coins instead of 50 for the previous job. There is harsh racism in the kingdom of Tracion and while some regions are less hatefull, others are murderous unless put in their place. The King has been trying to piece together his kingdom and unite the people, unfortunatly the economic drain of this plus upkeep of the military have damaged the economy. Corruption is rampant, as is starvation in many regions. Alderfall has been slowly absorbed into the kingdoms problems.
Fun Facts:
Poor Economy
Racism and Prejudice against Non-Humans
Starvation growing
Corruption rampant
Violent gangs and uprisings growing
Inner and outer threats emerging from sickness and rivals

History
Thoward Choster was a child of violence. Born in a small rural town constantly plagued by bandit raids and the occacional goblin invasion, he saw more than his fair share of suffering when growing up. As his father was unknown and his mother died in childbirth, he was taken in by the town blacksmith, Theodor, and set to working the bellows. At the age of thirteen, a huge bandit king laid waste to many villages in the region, but Thowards town was instead captured by the bandit king and most of the surviving inhabitants, including Thoward and Theodor, were enslaved. Theodor went sick from life as a slave though, and after some months, he died away. Thoward was now the towns only blacksmith, and that kept him alive as he plotted to cause a rebellion. He secretly made spear- and arrowtips, and he spoke with a few friends throughout the town. Eight years passed until the bandit lord found out, only weeks before the coup would have been.
It was decided that he should meet the gallows. The gallows were placed right outside of town to scare of would-be heroes, and when the rope were to be set about his neck, he flipped. The rage that had been building in him for the last eight years made him kill the executioner and a guard, and just ran. After hours running through the dense forest, his pursuers gave up, but he was in the middle of a forest with nowhere to go. He survived for months in the wilderness and found a road at the edge of the forest where he planned to ambush any raiders. Instead he met a mercenary company of good spirits, and joined them. Since then he has been a sellsword, taking particulary joy in hunting down bandits, and left the town far behind.
Personality & Appearance
While Thoward isn't exactly altruistic, he would never accept working for an evil cause. He is a staunch defender of liberties, having felt the pain of slavery, and he has a passionate hate for bandits of all kinds. He is a warm and talkative person, and enjoys good company and good drink - though he isn't in any way a drunkard. Still wondering if his friends turned him in so many years ago, he has a hard time really trusting someone, but doesn't show that outwards. He's reluctant to speak of his background more than very generally, saying that he was a slave or prisoner of war, but nothing more than that. He sometimes has a little hard to understand hints and social indicators from other people, but it's not a real problem. He's of average height, muscular, and his skin is fair though reddened by months in the sun and years at the anvil. He keeps his hair and beard short, cutting them when needed, but don't care about shaving. The hair is brown, as is his eyes. He's got somewhat of a stomach, finally being able to savour the good of life after the years in slavery, but it isn't big enough to actually hinder him. Casually, he wears simple clothes and has his longsword by his side. When on a mission, he wears chain shirt.

Appearance
Titus, like most of his fellows, looks very slapdash and wild. Both his nose and his ears have hoops pierced into them. His hair is short but messy from cutting it himself, his face perpetually covered in thick stubble he never quite shaves. His armor looks like something he found (it is), and his weapons oddly random, especially the large pick he bears. His height and thick muscle make him look older than he is, so where his fellows would be "wild children," he looks much more the wild man.
Background
Titus hails from a remote community which, convinced that the absence of the gods and the growing darkness herald an apocalypse, has decided to guard itself through its children. Every child born has undergone intensive training programs instituted by the town elders to fight off the forces of darkness whenever they arrive.
The problem is--probably because of just how remote and off the beaten path their village is--there's been no one to fight except training dummies and each other, and as the children grew into their more aggressive teen years, the town's defenders became one of its biggest problems. They co-opted their parents tools for their weapons (Titus' father finds working much more difficult since he's lost his pick), tied up the local blacksmith in working their armor and fashioning other weapons that caught their fancy. They organized skirmish exercises, fake invasions, geurrilla ambushes, seiges, and in general have turned the town into a mock war zone. There is no invading force, but for all the disruption and damage the young warriors do, there might as well be.
Finally the town had enough, and demanded that its youth settle down, nice and proper like, or leave town. Most of the children did just that. Titus, disgruntled by how easily they all gave in, and still possessed of the idea that he was destined to battle invading hordes of one kind or another, stomped off in a huff, out into the world.

Wild Empathy
A druid can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person.
The druid rolls 1d20 and adds her druid level and her Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result.
The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.
To use wild empathy, the druid and the animal must be able to study each other,
which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal conditions.
Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
A druid can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but she takes a -4 penalty on the check.

Appearance: Viktor's appearance is very much that of a typical black wolf's, save the addition of the leather barding. Viktor also seems eerily intelligent and calculating to those who pay enough attention to him, as he does not pace about or bark as often, passively watching.
Background:
Viktor's first years as a wolf were that of a normal one, raised as part of a pack in a forest were abominations were impinging on their hunting ground. It so happened that one attempted to steal the pack's kill, and the pack attacked. Viktor was the only survivor(that he knew of), though the thief as slain as well. Viktor was not able to hunt very effectively alone, luckily he only had his own mouth to feed.
After a time, he came across a man, more specifically, an elf. Snarling in warning at the beings approach, after a few minutes the man managed to assure Viktor he meant not harm, and when he touch Viktor, chanting, he felt a surge of insight. Viktor blinked, and the elf taught him the beginnings of the druid ways, explaining that the forest needed more protectors, and that the world of men had their own problems, and so he sought to empower the forest.
Viktor and the elf, whose name he never received, parted ways on good terms, though Viktor easily realized he was not yet strong enough to defend the forests properly, and so prepared to travel into the world of men, to perhaps conscript some assistance, and learn more about the Druidic ways. However, before the wolven druid departed, he came across an old packmate, who he had thought was slain. Re-establishing ties, Viktor chose Scar as his companion, so named for the scars on his body from the encounter Viktor had thought him slain in.
