E2: The Secret of Gemhold [Patlin Judging]

Nezrak and Gorefoot elect to stay above ground (as long as their players don't post otherwise this week).

ooc: XP will be rather large, but I only hand it out when you rest. I'll be awarding it in two seperate chunks. Combat in one, then you level if necessary (all will), then time in a second batch, then level again if necessary (some may <- Ridik I think).

"Either way fine," Rodimus says, popping his knuckles. "One long joy or many short joys, no difference."

Percy is dispapointed that Gorefoot isn't eager to go down into the mine. This dampens her enthusiasm. Nars is hurt and Ridik is too exhausted to heal him properly. Rodimus is hurt as well.

"OK. Well, let's stay up here, then, until we can rest. I can help guard the entrance, as I still feel pretty good. Ridik, everyone's important, I know, but I need our strike force in top shape in 8 hours. Get some rest and then get Nars and Rodimus fully healed."

Percy speaks with Celeriant, and tells him their plan. She trusts that they can figure out how to best position themselves to guard against an attack from the mine or from outside. From inside the mine seems much more likely. Percy's eyes flash with a lust for combat, and revenge for Gorefoot's people. But she cant' keep this attitude long, and is soon laughing with the petals at their ridiculous attacks on the goblins. She does stay close to the mine entrance for a while, then heads off to rest. Once she lays down and closes her eyes, the adrenalin of the big combat wears off and she quickly falls asleep.

Nezrak is glad that the group decided to postpone the attack to the mines. "Resting is definetly a good idea at this point.", he agrees.

XP Time!

Alright so with taking down a huge keep worth of enemies there is a huge amount of XP due. I've calculated that it will take everyone beyond the 1 level per XP gain forcing you to drop to 1 less than the second level up. So I'm going to award the time and RP XP first then the monster XP. Some may level up from twice this time based award (Ridik only I think).

Nezrak - 2668XP
Ridik - 5420XP
Rodimus - 5519XP
Gorefoot - 3447XP

After this level up I'll reward the monster XP as well. Which is guaranteed to take everyone up 1 level potentially to the point of one XP off the level above that.

I've send an approval request, but I don't know how much it will take to have an answer. I'm still waiting for Rinaldo and Hogarth.

Unfortunately for Ridik, he tops the LEW 2 level cap with this XP reward. Which means he'll probably have to come down to 14999 and stick at 5th. We should probably let the judges know that even though each character is going up 1 level now. At the next reward it'll be a second level for all of them and 1 XP off of a 3rd. That reward should be forthcoming in a few hours when I finish crunching the numbers.
