New Warlock pact, that seems... interesting. I don't know how I feel about "You damage your friends to get boosts". On the other hand, as a level 29 attack, the damage is to sneeze at when done to your friends, on a daily no less.

However, I think the biggest showing here is the Bag of Tricks. This looks like what we're going to see summoned critters handled. Or, it's just how they are currently testing them.

"One Final Sacrifice", yeah. In most parties I've seen a dark pact warlock would be called on to make their own final sacrifice long before they reach level 29.

For the good of the party and all...

Also. Back when we got the first preview of the Warlock, they mentioned a "Shadow Pact". Not Star.

I'm somewhat suspicious that the Shadow Pact was held back, and this is it.

This also makes me wonder which books will have New pacts.

When I saw Level 29, I was hoping that the Effect says: 'Each ally within 5 squares of you takes 10 damage. For each damage each ally takes, the target takes 1d8 damage.'

Must be the M:tG player in me...

I really like the superior Axe with it's Brutal 2 Bonus. I hope that there will be a equivalent superior two handed sword so we have something that can beat that damn bastard sword ;)

I'm not too sure about the warlock since hurting your team members can lead to hard feelings, but since we only saw one power it's better to wait for the full write-up.

Hmm really nice preview looks like the campaign specific players guides will be a must have if you want more character options, not that I wasn't going to buy it anywho but still ;)

hmm for that dark pact warlock with a standard party thats 4D12 + 4D8 + implement 6 + stat 8, hmmm hmm doesn't look a lot about a 58 damage on average for 40 damage spread out amongst the party, and theres a real possibility of not hitting with the power, I'd say make a +1 to hit for each ally damaged as well to make it nicer :p
Still more options make me a happy player

On the Critter summoning front I really like this, you can still make an attack, then get a move and an attack from said critter get your weasel running about for flanking bonus' ;) higher level creatures will be interesting but they will likely remain minions from the text.

And also I quite like the art might make a serperate thread on that though, one point on it the thief guy running away looks like he has an eversmoking bottle esque object in his hands

Note that the damage from hurting your allies is added as an effect - even if you miss, you add it fully. ;)
