When someone plays something you don't like

I'm with Danny on this. Someone with low Wisdom might indeed fireball the inn at 3 AM. All they need is a plausible (but ultimately foolish) reason. "There was a bad guy in there" would be a pretty decent reason for someone with low Wisdom to do something unwise. Of course, a Wisdom of 7 wouldn't be my threshold for that. I'd put that more at a 4, give or take a point.

More than a few times!!

I have an irrational hatred for gnomes, bards, half-orcs, half-elves, and drizzt-clones. Of those, I allow only bards in my campaign...

I take the darksun approach to gnomes. Half-breed is a 1st-level only "regional" feat. Drow are allowed as long as you suck up the LA, but good Drow tend to explode on contact with society (drow are viewed as EVIL). Bards are extremely rare, I can't remember the last time someone came to me with a Bard PC.

edit: when running SWd20 I post a "Gungan Bounty" on the bottom left hand corner of the game board. I've only had a couple gungans PCs at the table. I haven't seen any kender at the table since 2e, but I'm sure I'd have a similiar bounty for those critters too.

As a player, I just shrug and make do.

Lol, I don't like drizzit clones. I am not particularly fond of drow, but I have a surface dwelling race of "demon" worshipping pirates that look like them.

I have a ton of drow minis and not so much in the way of elf minis... I've considered reskinning my homebrew elves to so that the surface types look drow and the underdark types have pasty white skin.

So much gnome hate. If you hate gnomes, you hate fun!!!

I love Dark Sun gnomes :D

The solution to this is to ban low-Wis players. Oh, and characters too.

That's no solution!

By banning low Wis PCs, you're potentially robbing yourself of being able to regale other gamers with "Tales of brave Foolysses"- IOW, the REALLY stupid things that happened in the campaign!
