    Okay, thanks. *phew*, for a minute there I thought I'd wasted all the time spent sorting out that spellbook...

    As for rogues... well, that's mostly what the high HP are there for. If I can survive the initial assault (and with 67 HP I *should* be able to), I can get Greater Blink up, which is absolutely fantastic in a pinch.

    It is said that long ago, Toramir was another man entirely. When asked, he will not discuss it, except to say that he desired a fresh start. Unknown to even his closest associates, Toramir was once a human mage of great power, with only a mild psionic talent. While he truly did start over, it is possible that he learns so quickly in part because he is actually only re-learning things he knew before, long ago.

    Background:
    raised as a slave to the drow in the underdark. gurlak's cunning and potential was noticed early on. The house slavers first used him to scout tunnels ahead of groups, which was more for fodder and amusement rather than any actual worth. But as time went and word of his survial spread, other drow of the house took notice of gurlak and stated to send him on other missions of a more dangerous nature; ones that drow would not stoop so low to perform but still needed to be done.
    Gurlak soon worked his way up to personal slave cohort of second male of the house, even going along on some personal drow business. As time went by the first boy of the hosue became worried about the possible advance of gurlaks master and of gurlak's potential to aid the second boy. Gurlak realized this and took flight intot he underdark where he learned to survive for years on lichen, moss, wandering rothe, and other vermin. it is here where he also learned to hone his skills of tracking, and, more importantly in the underdark,killing.
    Over the years gurlak came across a deep imaskari wizrd that offered gurlak "jobs" in exchange for goods. seeing the potential for what it was worth, gurlak performed these tasks of hunting down wizards, minor devils, and other potential threats. on the return of one such job that involved interplanar travel, gurlak was moved a bit off course, where he finds himself currently employed by the denizens of the planes.

    Description:
    Kavernus stands 5'8" and 150 pounds, long black hair, ruddy tan skin and black eyes (think native American). His distinguishing features are the long thin horns growing from his head and his fangs. He has vestigial Bat like wings but they are not usable and very weak.
    He typically dresses very fastidiously and is partial to deep blues and indigo.



    Background:
    Kavernus is the son of a human sorceress and the demon she summoned expressly to impregnate her. He was an experiment from the start of his life and it grew worse from there. His 'mother' was gone for months at a time and while he was old enough to train himself in the mystical arts he also had time out on the streets of Sigil and learned the ways of the pickpocket. Eventually he just up and left his mother without a word and traveled the planes meeting new and different beings. He has a natural way of leadership about him that translates well into his chosen specialty of Conjuration.



    Personality:
    Kavernus is a very intelligent man, and he knows it. In his youth he may have been a bit of a bad boy but now he has cleaned up his act (some what) and helped to start a Wizards academy on the world he came to know as home. He has a natural flair for Leadership. (some would say bossing others around) .

    Physical Description:
    Ceborel is tall and gaunt, with thin shoulders and long appendages. His flesh is of a sickly white coloration, speckled with small blotches of crimson. A hooded robe of deepest black is worn at almost all times, with the hood pulled up at appropriate times to shadow his emaciated face. The bones of his skull are clearly visible beneath cold, pale flesh, and thin lips only barely serve to cover a mouth filled with sharp teeth. A harsh, beaklike nose juts out between piercing violet eyes and completes the dread visage. The skin of his narrow hands is pulled tight over long, clawed fingers, with concentrations of red on each joint. Ceborel's feet match the build of his hands and protrude from the bottom of his robe. They are protected by only a thin pair of sandles, made from the dried and blackened flesh of some unknown beast.

    Background:
    In the distant past, Ceborel was a fledgeling conjurer by the name of Tanaris Metwinger. After his apprenticeship, he retreated into his laboratory and live in seclusion. This was perfectly acceptable for Tanaris, as he cared only for his art, and little for the affairs of others around him. As he slowly grew in power, he began to perform more and more dangerous experiments. One such experiment proved to be his end. He attempted to summon forth a fiend from the fiery pits of Hell. Tanaris got far more than he bargained for, however, when a swarm of hellwasps appeared. The smaller creatures easily found a rift in the summoning circle and flowed out and towards the one who disturbed them. The insects ripped into their conjurer's chest and began to devour his heart. Tanaris should have died then, but by some amazing force of will, he was able to grab a nearby staff and activate its power. There was a flash of light, and the laboratory was instantly demolished, along with everything inside. The swarm vanished as well, and left Tanaris bleeding on the ground. His mind awakened later, but his flesh did not. It had perished, but a fiendish essence had remained within his soul, and it manifested itself in his corpse, giving it new life and access to strengths and abilities beyond those of his mortal coils. With the discovery of this power, the newly-christened Ceborel set off to make his fortune once more.

    Appearance: Her normal appearence is that of a gold elf mixed with the traits of a demon, her skin being a ruddy golden color as well as her hair having a simular reddish-gold color to it. Her eyes show her otherworldly heritage in their intense emerald color and cat like pupils. Further denoting her Fey'ri heritage are her batwings, slender tail and hooved feet.

    Personality: Normally quiet and softspoken, she can take charge when the situation merits it, and holds to her vows and promises quite resolutley (Such as the one she is currently operating under in the service of her current lord). She tolerates things that would have once driven her to immediate action, knowing now that form isn't the only sign of wickedness, but deed. She hopes her time in the court will show her lord how the path of righteousness is the only true path that one should follow in life.
    In battle, however she is a fury of rigtheous wrath eager to spread the word of her faith and smite those who through deed and word merit it.

    Background: Kaia was an orphan raised in a cloister as a young half elf orphan. Growing up in the hands of the faith, she was found to have the faith and strength of arm to be a paladin, and soon squired to a Paladin. She quickly learned to appreciate the life behind the code of honor and martial traditions of the paladin. Soon enough she earned her spurs and set out to serve her god wherever his wil guided her.

    It was on one such quest while aiding elven allies that she was changed into her current form. While fighting with a renegade elven sorceress, she was cursed by the dying sorceress to 'know the darkness that lurks in your blood.' With those hate filled words, she screamed as her body burned with the power of the curse and passed out.

    When she awoke, she discovered her body greatly changed. Her human heritage burned away as the hidden demonic taint in her elven blood, coming fully to the fore to shape her into the form of a Fey'ri or Demonfey. Apparently sometime in the long dark past, her bloodline had consorted willingly with the forces of Darkness.

    The Church elders retreated into council, debating many long nights and days on the question of Faith and how a holy warrior could be so greatly changed into a vessel of the very forces that they opposed. Kaia, in the manner she was taught, stood stoicly in prayer and vigil while awaiting the decision of the church high council; knowing in her heart that Pelor would see the loyalty and faith in her heart no matter what form she wore. Her faith was proven correct when a messenger of faith appeared to the council and reminded them that redemption was always a choice and that her form didn't necessitate that her heart be evil.

    The council, acting on a very heavy hint from the messenger, restored her rank and standing as a Paladin though her peers were leery of her new appearence. As a result she took up the chance to serve as a vassal to Lord Lahuarl, looking to stand out as an example of the mettle and courage that is only proper for a servant of the Most Radiant Pelor.

    Physical Description:
    S’srathka is a Dracotaur. His upper body is a large, muscular reptilian humanoid. His eyes are black and his sharp teeth glisten when he smiles his cruel smile. His lower torso resembles the body of a wingless dragon with large, clawed feet and a spiked tail that flails from side to side. He has the physique of a fighter, which goes without saying. His scales are of a dark, green, sage color. His crest is a brilliant scarlet. He wears his armor constantly, only taking it off during the two hours of sleep he requires. His long snout, somewhat like a crocodile’s, hasn’t got lips enough to cover his teeth and ends with two large nostrils. He occasionally will wear a saddle in order to carry his master, although he is loath to do so.

    Background:
    S’srathka, called Clanseeker, was hatched in a large clutch and, unlike some reptilian species, ate only one of his siblings. He was raised in a typical dracotaur home, the tribe would range the surrounding areas, killing most other humanoids and trading with the lizardfolk. He had no talent for the arcane and was thus trained as a fighter. His families had been tracking a large herd of centaurs, and were closing in on their village when arrows rained in from behind them, and the centaurs charged from behind a bluff. It was an ambush! The centaurs had allied themselves with local humans and they destroyed the tribe. S’srathka was the only survivor and he was horribly injured. He survived only by his immense hatred and the help from an unlikely source. A ghoul came across his body among the dead, and lucky for S’srathka, this ghoul had a distinct dislike for reptile flesh and needed a bodyguard. In the process of the healing, a lifebond was formed and S’srathka has traveled with the Warlock Ceborel Dreadbone ever since, although he is always on the lookout for a tribe of dracotaurs.

Keeping a low voice and getting the information any way he needs to Corbin is rather plain, a face you can forget, and that's the way he likes it.

    Background: Learning how to hunt down outsiders usually isn't a long last career, but Corbin has become good at surviving and knows how to come into a fight prepared. Born from a Deva and human he was "destine" to become a great becon of light, but when his mom was murdered by a group of demons that came to kill him, he choose a life of vengence. He has hunted down more chaotic outsiders than most angels have fought. This hasn't gained him a great reputation, but not many know what he actually looks like. His reputation is what gained him the attention of the Overlord. Sought out he was put onto the payroll and has happily been hunting for over fifty years now. The Overlord's son, Lord Lahuarl is a noob in Corbin's eyes, nothing like what his father was. But the kid has ambition and the pay is still good so he continues to do his service.
