Like, a player feat, kind of like Augment Summoning, but for mounts?

I have to go against this myself as well. There ARE ways to get the same sort of thing done without a template. Maybe it requires some magic investment or multi-classing, but it is definitely possible.

Don't know what magic or multi-classes this would involve, but maybe I'll propose a feat? Didn't think about PrCs, but that could be a viable option too.
