If a Warforged has Adamantine Body, does the DR count vs. the 2d6 damage that a Rust Monster can specifically do to Warforged?

For what it's worth, I consider the effect of a rust monster's attack on a warforged to be woefully inappropriate for the flavor of both rust monsters and warforged, so I've house-ruled it to do 1d10 Con dmg (equivalent to a poison spell used successfully on a human).
