Are there rules for younger characters?

I heard of some systems like this before, but I never had the need to use them. I have a new character who wants to play a younger character, but I don't know how to alter her stats for it or compensate if weaker than normal characters. Are there any rules that account for this, or perhaps a Fault listed somewhere?

I remeber there being rules for it in one of the star wars manuels and in d20 past. If I recall correctly you basicly took a -1 to all stats below a certain age (15 rings a bell) and a -3 to all stats below a lower one. hope that helps.

I think there's also rules in d20 Modern, and as I recall them are very similar to what Simm said.

(newborns to age 11): –3 Str, –1 Dex, –3 Con, –1 Int, –1 Wis, –1 Cha.
