Anybody notice the ability scores for these sample characters? Adding up the ability totals, I got 78 total points, 79, 78, 79 and (more troubling) 75. It would seem like point buy is straight points, no upward adjustment for higher scores. There would be no need because all characters depend on multiple ability scores. The odd one is the Eladrin Wizard who only has 75 points total but also has the only 20 in the group. Did he have to pay double points to go over 18? Some Eladrin racial bonus/penalty? Or perhaps the Eladrin receives no racial bonuses but the other races all have one or two.
