The night passes relatively uneventfully, on Fin and Lucean's watch, Fin just glimpses two large humanoid shapes moving through the swamp in the distance. They are too far away for darkvision, but he catches sight of them in the moon light. The view is fleeting, but it seemed that they were bigger than men, one bigger than the other. Despite careful observation, he saw no other sign of them.

On Logan and Sine'Gile's watch, Logan is pretty sure he hears something moving in the water close to the camp. Sine'Gile goes out of the fire light and has a look, but reports that he can find nothing unusual.

Morning

Just before dawn, Tsall'Eie makes up a pot of some sort of buckwheat gruel which she shares with Sine'Galie and anyone else who's interested. It isn't bad if kinda bland.

It looks like it will be another hot muggy day in the swamp. Scratch your bug bites you re-board the boats and prepare for another day of exploration. About mid-morning you reach a strange primitive tower of poles hung with red ribbons erected in a pool of open water. Signs painted with symbols of evil death and destruction hang from the bare pole structure and a large alligator skull tops the thing. As you pass the thing, Tsall'Eie places her mace across her knees and Sine'Galie loosens his dagger in its sheath.

It seems likely that you are entering and area the lizard folk deem unsafe. A vulture looks down from a branch in a way that makes you feel he's anticipating his next meal.

Fin draws Samman from its place on his back and nocks an arrow as he watches the water to ensure that no threat sneaks up on them.

Harrison pulls out his longbow, strings it and double checks the tension. he then pulls out a master woirk arrow, nocks it but does not draw the string.
