No miniatures

I was wondering if anyone plays 4th ed with out miniatures or tokens and what their experience was?

My group has never used mini's in a game and we've been playing for 15+ years now. We are currently playing a few games of 4th ed to try the game out using tokens, but I'm concerned we will simply stop running games like this and switch to another system.

It'd be a shame as I think this new system has a lot of potential (especially as I was getting fed up with 3rd ed).

Are there any powers I need to keep an eye on or even change?

Can be done without minis, my party are halfway through Kobold Hall and are doing fine by sketch map of the rooms and description, we even did a starter tavern brawl without them (FR addition to KotS).

^ Agreed.

Be descriptive and have a very clear of the environment of the battlefield. That's all you have to do.

It might be worth trying to come up with some alternate mechanical effects of various "fiddly" movement rules (pull/push/slide), but it's not necessary.
