He Who Lurks Beyond The Veil
Hmm... Did he mean from the movies only or is EU content allowed, and did he mean individual droids or droid-series? Okay, and now I feel I proved my geekiness already... :D

Well okay, lets try this without looking at wookieepedia:
TC-14
G0-T0
HK-47
Magnaguard
GONK
B1 Battledroid
Droideka Series Destroyer droids

Well that's some. Given a little thinking time I might do better...

I took the question to mean name individual droids, not droid models. R2-D2 vs. astromech.

Maybe I interpreted the question too strictly? I can definitely name five droid models.

At the time I was doing the asking, it was just the IV, V, VI trilogy, really.

The first two are freebies-- R2-D2, C-3PO. But I find that most people can't even get C3PO right without being at least a nominal Star Wars geek.

Then you have

R5-D4
IG-88
4-LOM
FX-7
2-1B
EV-9D9

They all have screen time... and action figures.

8D8 is another one. It was one of the few RotJ figures from the old school action figure line that I still have that is in good shape.

Other than that, there's the Power Droid (AKA Gonk) that also had an action figure from the original movie line.

I can't name any from the new triology other than TC-14, R2-D2, C-3P0, OOM-9 and FX-6. There's another couple of Astromechs but I cannot recall them off hand.

Oh, oh! I just remembered two more droids! Bullox and Blue Max!

My sons were sitting at the kitchen table looking at a Star Wars pop-up book they got for Christmas, and it got me thinking about this question again. And then I remembered these two robots from some old books I used to have way, way back.

So yay! I fully answered the question!

A gold-plated attaboy to whoever can identify these two droids.
