I think the idea of post-apocolyptic worlds in D&D setting is perfect. I've been working on a similar idea, and just launched a blog for Shatterworld.


I think many of our ideas and goals are similar. I like the alien feel of your world. In mine, I was trying to create something familiar, in terms of Europe.

Placing characters in a plot apocalyptic setting provides rational for all the abandoned dungeon settings, offers the opportunity to discover arcane lore, and is a way to rationalize to players limits on power gaming.
