Tamarand looks over at the kalashter and a smile creeps across the drows face. Then he turns his attention back to Cleaver "Hope no dignataries head down here to the Shard. Although I could always blame it on that other lizard" Tamarand jokes.

Walking past the hungry lizards and tied up horses, a man walks into the Tower's Shard. His face is shadowed by his dark cloak, but his eyes seem to pierce everything, catching every detail weather it be scar, dragonmark, or knot of wood. His jeweled longsword hangs from his left hip, the hilt peaking out from his cloak. His red vest hangs open, revealing a blueish green swirl of color upon his chest. One could easily identify this as the Mark of Detection. The kalashtar moves with an unearthly grace as he walks through the door and sits upon a bar stool.

"We are Lanharath d'Medani. We come seeking a drink and a meal."

Spotting the other Kalashtar, Lanharath sends a friendly mental greeting.

"Hail brother. We have not seen many of us in our journeys. What portent of light brings another of us here?"

Valahad turns as the door opens. As the other kalashtar enters, and his thoughts enter his own mind, Valahad replies with telepathy, "I am here on a mission. What brings you here?"

Casting his eyes about the room once more and absorbing it's details, he sends the other kalashtar another mental message.

"We seek to find that which you already have. A directional purpose and a dark target to shine our light upon. Do you require assistance with this mission? We are not currently working toward anything and would welcome the company of another of us for a time."

Valahad looks around the room again, not trying to call attention. "Help would be good, but if we face the Inspired, a more subtle approach would be needed. Let us see what adventure's approach us. For now, come and have drink and dinner on me."

Lanharath walks over to where Valahad sits and joins him at his table.

"We appreciate your offer and accept. We are fortunate that we have not seen many of the Inspired during our life. We sometimes wonder if they are the greater threat (being so small in number), or if other beings (like the horrors of the Mournland) should take precedence. What are your opinions on the matter?"

Tondrek looks up at the newcomers... and immediately knocks over his tower of utensils with a very loud *THUD*.

OOops. Need more stabilization. And wire. More wire. Yes.

Actually I believe the problem rests in the materials available. It would be more beneficial if you captured additional resources for your tower.

From the street outside, there was the plaintive hiss of a large confused lizard- a split second later the front door burst open, almost hard enough to spring the hinges. In a swirling rush of motion, a large rust-brown furry shape scampered past the first few tables and under another, before skidding to a stop.

It stood, revealing itself to be a gnoll dressed in a colorful motley of rags and leather. A bit undersized for its kind, its rusty pelt topped with a glossy crest of black fur, the creature waved a well-gnawed looking chunk of bloody raw meat. "Yep! Yep! Yep! Hey, Brews! Sweetness came back again! Just drinks tonight- somebody left perfectly good piece of meat lying in the road!"

Rohna leans over the spirit bear who's head is in her lap, and whispers something in its alert ear. The bear yawns and gets to its feet sleepily before silently padding its way out of the Shard's swinging doors on some sort of mildly appealing secret mission.
