So, something I came across while I was piddling around on the internet

Metamorphosis Alpha 5e, by Signal Fire Studios LLC

Just thought I'd share it with all those out there who love MA.
It is supposedly going to share the core of D&D 4E with the flavor of MA.

Yeah, that was announced here in the publishers forum the week of July 7th. I remember this because I then went to Troll Con and talked to Jim Ward about it.

Very cool. I've been pretty disappointed with the last three MA editions, so it's nice to see somebody giving it another go.

I am eagerly awaiting this, if for nothing more than to mine it for ideas to make a revisitation to the Barrier Peaks module.

Some of the folks working on this are people who worked on the 3.5 Dragonlance game when it was licensed to Margaret Weis Productions. I may have to check this out.

I am rather torn here. I am a fan of Metamorphosis Alpha, but I am not a fan of D&D 4e. I am not sure how well the 4e game mechanics will work in recreating the world of MA. I will have to wait for reviews and find out what people think of it.
