Taranis and Kestrel scout ahead a bit. The courtyard is as the familiar indicated, abandoned. The drawbridge across the moat is unstable, but strong enough for human-sized individuals...a horse would most certainly break through, however. Surveying the interior of the moathouse itself will require a decision of going in the front, or trying to navigate the collapsed section of wall on the outside of the keep.
