Opportunistic Withdrawal & Badge of the Berserker aid in charging every round. Grasping Claws & Vicious Advantage aid in getting combat advantage every round. The Blightbeast PP adds necrotic damage = Con, ignores necrotic resistance, and inflicts Vulnerability 5 on any target that lacks necrotic resistance. The Blood Fury weapon is there so that I can trigger Longtooth Shifting at the start of each encounter.


Target Reflex = 28 (Monster NAD: 12+level)
= (.10 * 0) + (.85 * 57.5) + (.05 * 91) = 53.425 + Immobilization

I don't know if I calculated that correctly, so please let me know if I made any mistakes. Also, I don't know if that DPR value is high enough to make the list, but it's not too shabby for a Controller (especially a fairly durable one).

Edit - I should have stated explicitly that this is a Level 16 build.

There are a few feats that might be swapped and/or picked next:
*Bloodied Boon and Arbiter of Justice, which means you are pretty much guaranteed your Boon twice per target - which is handy since it now gives an ally and MBA + 5 radiant ongoing whenever it triggers thanks to Student of Caiphon.
*Hybrid Talent for Avenger's +3 AC and Unarmored Agility so your AC isn't hit on a 6...
*Accurate Dagger Prof for more hit, though it's not really needed, at least with Eldrich Blast.

Continuing my need to make wonky builds, I created a fully functional Striker/Leader using the normal Twin Strike and Frost-Tech, but with Artificer and Cleric buffs built in. Through Hybridization, you get your two leader heals, some party supporting utilities and all the Twin Strike uber damage your DM can take.

The fun and unique part of this build comes from the three separate Daily weapon augments that add 3+ damage and some amount to hit. These calcs also assume you are using a Frozen Whetstone to add some more damage. You can drop these if you have other item dailies since you still get the frost keyword from your weapon. Standard setup is minor for a weapon augment and move->minor for the Frozen Whetstone. If you want to go nova, it will take two rounds for all three weapon augments and a whetstone.

Assumptions:
1) CA from Wintertouched is active.
2) At least one weapon augment and whetstone have been applied (see breakdown below).

So at 24, this build hits a bit of a wall. You can still pump awesome damage out for being a decent healer and buffer, but the biggest issue is the number of attacks. The DPR king builds are finding a way to make 3 or 4 attacks, where this build makes just the two. Make no mistake, this is still a lot of damage and you will miss very rarely, but I thought I would clarify why it's half the current DPR king value.

You can probably add some theoretical DPR given all of the immediate attacks, but that doesn't fit into these calculations or methodology.

EDIT: managed to get the Twin Strike half-elf CHAguard up to 108 at-will DPR at 30th in melee, and everything works with ranged attacks too, with d4 damage dice from Frost Dagger (not taking into account miss and crit chances because, frankly, I don't really know how, and I think the latter, at least, would have soem impact given that I managed to squeeze in Light Blade Mastery - and it goes up to 128 if you used Avatar of Vice earlier in the encounter) and 264.5 on an encounter basis with an AP (goes up to 294.5 with AoV).

It's kicking around the lower end of the table, but it's kicking around at the table. Missing out on Surprising Charge is perhaps a key issue (because Adept Dilettante means you MC ranger), and not being able to swap in a Ranger minor-action power is similarly a problem that seems unlikely to find a solution until (or unless) the Blackguard finally gets a seat at the head of the table from a Martial Cross-Training-style feat, at which point the whole build needs significant re-working, probably to include Traveller's Harlequin, MC Bard, and Combat Virtuoso.

Feat order could use some work, but it'll be at least functional from first level, albeit it doesn't work massively well until Paragon.

may I suggest making (5) something more that would include Subtle for example, like "applying offhand properties to mainhand attack and it making no sense". well, I can't write it better then that, but it gets the message over

I also made a hybrid Wizard|Warlock that doesn't have quite the DPR, but has the advantage of being able to do good AoE and single target DPR. DPR is 24.6(27.98 if target bloodied) with Hellfire Rebuke and 12.78 DPR(3x3) with Scorching Bursts.

This build also has the advantage of dropping 10.5 extra DPR through Infernal Wrath the first time it's hit as a little bonus. I also like the ability to do decent single and AOE damage with the same build.

.35(0) + .6(14.5) + .05(29.5) = 10.18
When hit: .65(4) = 2.6
Total = 12.78 DPR

This is my first post here after skimming these boards since 4e came out, so I'm sure there's a million things I missed and probably some way to double the DPR I came up with - heck someone's probably built and posted it and I just missed it. I did have fun tinkering around and running the numbers though.
