Older D&D Edition disorganization

Why is 4e clumped with 0D&D? What does OSR have to do with 3e? Why are "older editions" lumped in a separate area from 5e? Is there a filter setting I'm unaware of so I can see only threads from certain editions since everything is garbled together? For instance there are 3rd and 4th edition threads inside the 5e area here.

It would be so much simpler if there was one D&D area with each edition having their own sub forums. Yes, I did a search of the meta board for "Older D&D" but it found nothing.

Yes, you can sort the threads in that forum by edition either by using the dropdown menu at the top of the forum, or by clicking on the icon of a thread with the edition you want.

For example, this this all the 4E stuff:
