Smaller dice don't roll as far as bigger dice. Observe closely and you'll see. It really is as simple as that.

(shrugs) I can live with that as an explanation of why my little grey d20 has seemed to roll higher over the years.
Or at least the people I game with can (they don't seem to believe me that my die is trained).

Of course none of my dice are being rolled outside of about a 9" area, & none of them seem to have any trouble crossing that entire distance....

A Title Much Cooler Than Anything on the Old Site
Just spend 25 on a Gravity Dice d20. These are machined metal dice and are beautiful. Can't justify the >100 for a whole set, and $25 is kinda crazy for a d20, but I'll splurge on one real nice die. At least my players can't argue that I'm playing with an unfairly cocked die.
