Celestial creature advancement

have a Druid who it has the celestial animal companion feat. Now the celestial template says not to adjuesfsaves hit die etc for type change. But does that include advancement? So if my celestial creature gains a hit die it gains an animal hit die, not a magical beast hit die?

also since he has an int score of 3 her can take sacred cow and VoP right?

I would probably keep giving it animal HD as it advances.

As for Sacred Vow / VoP, that is definitely "Talk to your DM" material right there. Something with an intelligence of 3 could talk but I don't know how much it could devote itself to "the greater good" that an exalted character could. I feel that something with that low an intelligence would still be mostly instinct driven. Again, talk to your DM.
