A DM's Guide to Taking the Characters to the Royal Court
This guide presents guidelines and rules for introducing a monarch's court (and everything that happens there) into your D&D game. It's built from an historical perspective, based on the late medieval and renaissance courts of England. You can build off of this to add whatever "level" of fantasy elements you wish to add, although some things are included in the guide.

• A look at a variety of different court events
• Titles and forms of address and their place at court
• Racial variatiions on the typical human court
• An example human court filled with interesting NPCs and hooks for courtly intrigue
• Four adventure ideas for getting the characters involved in court
• An overview of how select skills can be used in ways unique to court
• A variety of gifts courtiers might present to adventurers
• Three court-themed magic items
• Two court-themed traps
• A variety of court-themed NPC stat blocks
